DIY Chocolate Shell

Good Evening!
I am here with another YUMMY recipe! This is the chocolate shell stuff you buy at the store to put on icecream. The good part though is this is so simple , has only 2 ingredients, and you KNOW what the ingredients are  - no "mystery" ingredients.

Purly Lamb Hat Pattern

Hello!
Crocheting today! Used hook G and soft white yarn. Also used a normal purple yarn for the flower.

Hat pattern : http://www.purllamb.com/2012/05/puffy-preemie-hat-pattern.html
I did a few more rows of the puff to make it longer because I was making it for a 0-3 month baby so I needed it slightly bigger. My project always turns out a little larger than expected because I am a loose crocheter. If you are a tight crocheter you may want to use a size I hook to make the hat larger.

Flower Pattern:

Round 1. Ch. 4 , slip stitch to join

Flower Petals: *Chain 4 slip stitch in round slipstich in round again. Repeat 4 times

There you have it!

Delicious Freezer Biscuits

Hello!
Welcome to my kitchen! Today I made freezer biscuits and I toasted one and tasted it (YUMMY!)
Here is a video of myself walking you through the process.
So simple!

When I toasted it in the toaster it was soo good but it was a littler hard to get out because it was:
1.  A little too fat
and
2. Falling apart (flaky)

Also because I didnt want to burn it I had to take it out before the center got a chance to bake completely - no big deal though. The taste was still delicious!

Have fun!

Life-savers

Hello!
I have a newish little thing that I do. That is writing all the assignments for the day that I have to turn in and crossing it off when it is sent in. Do you ever go to bed then while your laying there remember something you were supposed to send in or maybe homework you forgot about? Um this has happened to me way to many times. So when there is a problem you have to find a solution. *lightbulb moment* Post-its!

I just stick mine on my desk and throughout the day write on it. Another choicr would be to use an index card. An index card would be the better choice if you go to a brick and morter school.

There you go!

Gratefulness

Showing thanks and gratefulness. I made this little booklet to use for November and December to wrtie just one thing a day that I am grateful for. Listing just one thing to night was hard. Not because I couldnt think of one but because there are so many. I never really thought about it before until I made this booklet and sat down to write a little something tonight. I challenge you to write down in a notebook, something you are grateful for every day. If you miss a day - no big deal. This is something I really look forward to. I dont know how fortunate I am. I have a roof over my head, family, friends, food. health, electric, and so many other things. My life is a huge blessing. The fact that I am alive is a miracle. Not because I am anything special but because there areso many people that are less forunate than me. Why not me? Something else that got me thinking is that a friend of a friends daughter just passed away. We are so fortunate to have this breath - you are lucky to be able to take this next breath , to live this next hour.

Lets think about this as we go through our days.
When you feel ungrateful and grumpy - you can go to that notebook and see all that you have to be thankful for.
                                                XOXO
